Our anti-cyanobacteria kit, Bactoreef and Microfauna Booster
Our anti-cyanobacteria kit is used to fight effectively against cyanobacteria, green algae, red algae, etc. Cyanobacteria and algae are destroyed within six days on average. After treatment, microfauna must be reactivated and looked after. Our Bactoreef product must be poured – an amount under the recommended dosage – every morning for six weeks with the skimmer turned on, and Microfauna Booster will be added 3 times per week in the evening, with the skimmer turned off for between an hour and all night.
Manual cutting
Algae are well established in your aquarium and measure several centimetres: in addition to the treatment against cyanobacteria and algae, we advise you to cut them away manually and/or scrub them to help get rid of them.
Detritus-feeders
Detritus-feeders particularly enjoy algae provided they do not exceed 1 or 2 mm. They assist in aquarium upkeep and to contain algae growth.
