A link in the reef aquarium food chain
Like Bactoreef® and Microfaune Booster®, Zoo Booster® forms an integral part of the food chain mirroring that found in the sea, with phytoplankton, zooplankton and bacteria. An aquarium that is home to a complete food chain, including with diverse, live microfauna, is a healthy aquarium that will not encounter problems such as cyanobacteria and other invasive algae. Daphbio has consequently always said that prevention is better than cure.
Zoo Booster® contains spores and micro-crustacean eggs from various saltwater species that will be revived in the aquarium. Zoo Booster® is consumed by all occupants of a reef aquarium, such as corals, fish and fry.
Zoo Booster®: A biological product for your reef aquarium
Trailblazing daphbio was the first brand to offer zooplankton to reef aquarium keepers. From the outset at daphbio, we have delivered a new, more effective route to natural, biological fish-keeping, based on the marine food chain.
Our zooplankton cultures for marine and reef aquariums are produced 100% organically. Huge quantities of the raw materials are available, and producing Zoo Booster® requires no petrochemicals or fossil fuel, nor any manufacturing process. In addition, we use only pure spring water in our production processes. We have been producing phytoplankton, zooplankton and bacteria for more than 30 years, expertise which makes Zoo Booster® a high-end product of incomparable quality.
