Zoo Booster®: An organic product for your reef aquarium!

A pioneer and innovator, daphbio was the first brand to offer zooplankton to reefkeepers! When daphbio was created, we introduced a new, more effective way of practicing natural and organic aquaristics, based on the marine food chain.

A link in the reef aquarium food chain

Just like Bactoreef® and Microfaune Booster®, Zoo Booster® is an integral part of the food web as found in the ocean: phytoplankton, zooplankton, and bacteria. An aquarium with a complete food chain, especially with live and diversified microfauna, is a healthy aquarium that will not encounter problems such as cyanobacteria and other nuisance algae. This is why daphbio, since its inception, advocates prevention over cure.

Composition of Zoo Booster®:

Zoo Booster® contains spores and eggs of micro-crustaceans from various marine species that will reactivate in the aquarium. Zoo Booster® is consumed by all the inhabitants of the reef tank, such as corals, fish, and fry.

Directions and recommendations for use:

10 ml per 100 liters, 2 to 3 times a week, with the skimmer turned off for 1 hour to overnight. Best distributed in the evening or early morning. Shake well before use.

(Regarding turning off the skimmer all night: do this if and only if you have already done so previously, and it has not caused any particular issues in your tank.)

We recommend using Zoo Booster® with Microfaune Booster® and Bactoreef®, dosing them simultaneously to recreate the marine food web so appreciated by your tank inhabitants, exactly as found in natural coral reefs and the open ocean.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest.

Storage:

Store in the refrigerator. Preferably, any opened bottle should be used continuously without interruption. As with all organic products, a natural odor may be present, but this does not affect the product's effectiveness.
